Welcome to Pete and Jen's Backyard Birds!
We are excited you found our website and are so glad you stopped by to learn more about us! We are small scale local growers of pasture raised, premium quality meat and layer chickens, pigs, some sheep, and a few rabbits...located in Concord, MA. All of our animals are drug and chemical free, treated with respect, care, and most are fed certified organic grains to supplement their pasture-based diet. We began our first small flock of chickens in 2002 and have since expanded where we sell beyond our backyard to friends, family and through our new mini-store located at our home (e-mail us for specifics). We are a developing business and enjoy learning and improving our practices. Our goal is to grow healthy, happy and tasty animals for our local community while respecting the land and our wonderful animals. We also hope to return a small profit so we can continue to grow the enterprise.
